The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) has one primary type of examination, which is the General Test. The GMAT General Test assesses skills in analytical writing, integrated reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and verbal reasoning. It is used as a criterion for admission into graduate management programs, such as MBA (Master of Business Administration) programs, around the world. The GMAT General Test is administered in a computer-based format and consists of multiple-choice and essay questions.
